On Tuesday the 14th December, we had another grading date for the children’s group for those who were unable to attend the week before.
This time we had two who tested for 5th kyū and two who tested for 8th kyū.
A big congratulations to Camilo and Tindra who passed their grading to 5th kyū and to Neo and Viktor who passed their test to 8th kyū.

On Saturday 11th of December there as a dan examination in Gothenburg.
We were three people from our branch that travelled down to Gothenburg early on the Saturday morning. The three were Anders Pettersson, our branch’s shibu-chō, who also should be one of the examiners, and Erik Öhrn who was going to do his grading. Joining in to the trip to Gothenburg was also Pelle Svensson.

On Tuesday, 7th of December, we held a grading in the children’s group.
There were six kenshi who graded to 8 kyū and one who graded to 6 kyū.
Congratulations to Isaac, Jesper, Simon, Hugo, Sebastian and Joar, who did their test for 8 kyū (yellow belt) and Oscar that passed his test for 6 kyū (green belt).
On Tuesday, the 2nd of November, we had a kyū grading. It was Mikael Mansikkala who did the test for ikkyū (1 kyū, brown belt).
Michael did very well at his test, a big congratulation from all other members.

The autumn term is about to start and we will kick off with the children’s group on Thursday 26th of August. We welcome new members from the 31st of August.
New members can try out training for a whole month if you pay the membership fee of 200:-, which also include insurance.
For current members, it is time to pay the autumn training fee, 300:- for children and 600:- for those over 13 years. Payment is preferably done to the branch’s PlusGiro 4863329-1.
On Thursday, 24th of June, we had a kyū grading. It was Christopher and Magnus who tested for yonkyū (4 kyū) and we had Johan and Carl, who did the test for sankyū (3 kyū).
Everyone did a very good job and passed their test without any problems.

Saturday May 22 there was a dan examination in Karlstad.
There were a total of five people who graded that day, where Anders Pettersson and Åke Olsson from Karlstads Studenter Shibu were examiners.
Skövde Shibu which is one of the youngest clubs in Sweden, the organization on Saturday 8 May, a training day in the Skövde. Participated did Kenshi from Skövde, Gothenburg and Karlstad Shibu.

On Tuesday the 25th and Thursday the 27th we had a grading for the children’s group.
There were a total of 12 children who have graded and all did a good job.
