Gradings for juniors and adults
As 2021 came to a close, gradings were performed in both the juniors and adults groups. Everybody was successful – well done!

On the 27th of May, there was another grading in the junior group. All of them succeeded this time too, well done everybody!

Short video from adults’ practice
We made a short video at yesterday’s practice. During these strange times, we minimize switching partners to help prevent the spread of covid-19.
New practice days and new dojo
On Tuesday 25th of August we will start the fall practice season with new practice days, and in a new dojo – the newly-built practice hall at Kvarnbergsskolan. This means that we will also resume children’s practice.

Anders-sensei Graded to Junhanshi
On September 29 there was a “special grading examination” or as it is called in Japanese tokubetsu shōkaku kōshi 特別 昇格 考試, which means grading examinations for 4th Dan or above and held only at Shorinji Kempo’s hombu (headquarters) or in special cases at events were hombu is the organiser. Anders took his test and received the hōkai rank Junhanshi 准範士.

On June 5th – 8th, the 2019 European Shorinji Kempo Championship and Study Session was held in Stockholm. Several of our members attended the Study Session, and our shibu-chō Anders Pettersson-sensei participated both as a judge and as a WSKO instructor.
