So today, Shorinji Kempo Karlstad Shibu reopened after a few months of hiatus. We had a good turnout, with 19 children in attendance. #karlstad #kampsport #shorinjikempo #budo
Due to increased spread of covid-19 we now have ha Due to increased spread of covid-19 we now have harsher restrictions in our region, which disallow contact sports. So before today's practice, we bought enough improvised shakujō (technically, long broom handles) to go around. This means that instead of practicing in pairs, we can now practice shakujō at a distance from each other. Think of it as martial artists working remotely. Improvise. Adapt.
